Replacing your boiler with Baxi

New Baxi Boilers, Built in Preston

Baxi started in Preston, Lancashire, in 1866 and still builds boilers there today. Now part of BDR Thermea Group, it is one of the UK’s longest-established heating brands and a common choice for straightforward replacements.

The Baxi 800 Combi 2 is designed to fit kitchen cupboards just 290mm deep and comes with an Adey MagnaClean Micro2 filter to protect your heating system. The 400 and 600 series offer simpler, lower-cost options, and Baxi also makes system and heat-only boilers for homes with a cylinder.

Baxi is also the name behind the old Bermuda back boiler. If you still have one, we can remove it along with the fire and fit a modern wall-hung boiler in its place.

How Much Does a New Baxi Boiler Cost?

A Baxi installation is priced on the series, the output and the work your home needs. Across all brands, like-for-like combi swaps start from £1,759 fitted; replacing a Bermuda back boiler or fitting a System 2 boiler with a new cylinder takes more work and costs more.

Every quote is fixed, so nothing is added after the survey. You can also spread the cost: as an example, a £1,799 boiler over 10 years at 9.9% APR works out at £23.26 a month, subject to status.

Is a Baxi Boiler Right for Your Home?

Kitchen cupboard installs

The 800 Combi 2 is built to slot into standard kitchen cupboards, so it is a neat option where the boiler sits behind a door.

Back boiler replacements

Older homes with a Baxi Bermuda or similar back boiler can switch to a wall-hung Baxi combi or system boiler, freeing up the fireplace.

Homes with a cylinder

If you want to keep stored hot water, a Baxi System 2 boiler with an unvented cylinder gives strong flow to several taps at once.
